Answer: - Yes it will work, you can mix memory modules. However keep in mind, your system will only be as fast as “the slowest member of RAM”. 1. If your RAM combination is 8GB+16GB=24GB or 4GB+8GB=12GB then both RAM work on lower memory space like 8GB+8GB=16GB or 4GB+4GB=8GB space, 8GB and 4GB Waste. 2. If your RAM combination is 2666MHz + 3200MHz or 2666MHz + 2933MHz then both RAM work on lower frequency 2666MHz. Therefore better option is to keep both RAM same size and same frequency.
